PersonnelRob Tupper, BCLS, BSc – Rob has been working in the surveying industry since 1989 and graduated from the University of Calgary’s Department of Geomatics Engineering in 1997. He was commissioned as a B.C. Land Surveyor in May of 2000. Rob has worked extensively with clients in land development projects from initial concept through to final registration of the legal survey plans. Rob has also worked on, and completed, numerous large scale survey projects in remote areas of British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and Nunavut Territories. These projects involved conventional terrestrial surveying/mapping and the establishment of GPS control points. In addition to his work in Canada, Rob has extensive experience working abroad in Africa on large scale cadastral mapping projects involving GPS Mark Budgen, P.Eng, BA, BSc – Mark has been involved in the surveying industry since 1991. He graduated with a B.A. in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 1991, and a Bachelor of Science, with distinction, in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary in 1997. Mark was registered as a professional engineer in 2004. He has a wealth of survey and Geomatics experience, and has managed or surveyed large geodetic survey projects (Gravity Field and GPS) in Northern Canada, the United States, Thailand, Mexico and Peru. Mark has most recently worked in software development for the survey and engineering industry and is well versed with leading edge survey technology. Richard
Shoesmith, B.Surv., B.C.L.S. - Richard is a B.C.L.S. with
25 years of experience in engineering and legal surveys. Originally
commissioned as a land surveyor in Australia, Richard was commissioned
as a B.C.L.S. in 1979 and was recently awarded the prestigious 25 year
pin from the Association of British Columbia Land Surveyors (A.B.C.L.S.).
He has owned and operated Shoesmith Land Surveys since 1986. Tracey Jackson, Office Manager - Prior to becoming the office manager, Tracey worked extensively as an AutoCAD technician. Tracey is responsible for scheduling office and field staff, time tracking, invoicing and client relations and her experience in managing projects from a logistics standpoint strengthens our professional team. Chris Braybrook, B.Sc., Dip. Surv. - Chris a skilled survey technician and project manager. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Victoria and a diploma of Geomatics Technology with a specialization in surveying from B.C.I.T. Chris also has a strong background in the Forestry industry. Kevin Savitsky, Survey Technician - Kevin attended S.A.I.T. and studied in the survey and mapping technologist program. Kevin has a wealth of experience in all manner of legal survey projects from the field work to the drafting of legal survey plans. |
